Dear Neighbors,

          I hope everyone is getting into the holiday spirit.  A lot of the homes are already decorated and looking good.  I hope everyone has a great Christmas or Hanukkah as they celebrate this year.

         The neighborhood Christmas party is this Sunday night.  If you have registered with the Social Committee, you should already know where you are going to go.  If not, contact Rosalie Johnson as soon as possible (340-9835). Thanks to all the people who have agreed to open their homes and host the party this year.

         I would like to remind everyone the end of the year is coming fast and it is that time of the year:  Yes, Annual Homeowner Dues are coming due.  If you pay by January 31, the dues are only $700.  If you pay after that date, you are responsible for the full $800.  You may mail the dues to:  The Laurels HOA, PO Box 383163, Germantown, TN. 38183-3163.  This address can be found in your directory on page 2.  You may also drop off your dues with any HOA officer.

         Mark your calendar for the Annual HOA Meeting, to be held January 10, 2026, from 11 to 1 at Grace Evan Church, next door.  You can hear what the HOA Board has done this last year and what we can expect for next.  We will hold an election for 2 new Board members.  So, if you wish to run for a position on the Board, please let me know. We have one opening available for sure.  There will be a light lunch served.

         I have noticed that some dog poop is not being scooped up.  This is a violation of the Collierville Ordinances and our own Covenants.  While we don’t have any monetary fines in our covenants for this violation, I am not above publishing your name and asking all other dog owners to throw all their dog poop onto your own front yard.  Please help keep our neighborhood clean and neat.
