Summer Is Here

Dear Neighbors,

Summer is about to start for everyone!  The kids are out of school so watch out for them on the streets.  The heat will start to ramp up and you will need to take precautions for yourself and water your plants and trees.  If you are travelling, be sure to let your neighbors know to watch your home for you while you are gone, or have the Collierville Police Department check it for you.

Does anyone have the name of a repair guy/company who repairs/replaces shutters like we have on the outside of our homes?  We have several in need of repair in the neighborhood and some folks are having a hard time finding a repair guy to do the work.  Please let me know if you have a name or need a name.  Thanks.

We finally have a building permit for the storage shed.  There is a pine tree that died near the site that we need to remove before we start the building process.  Once it is gone, I will be asking for volunteers to help build the shed.  Anyone is welcome and spectators are encouraged to come and add their “expertise” to the process.  We will need a couple of pickup trucks to get the supplies at the hardware store before we begin actual construction.  I am hoping we can get started early next month.  If you are interested in helping, please give me any available dates you can work.  It should only take 2 days to build and paint the shed, I hope.
